Health Measurement Initiative

The ability to track Ohio’s progress in improving health care value – looking at the relationship between health outcomes and health costs – is critical to evaluating efforts aimed at improving the health of Ohioans. Current tracking efforts are often too narrow in scope and do not factor in determinants outside of the health care system,  such as social and economic factors that heavily impact population health outcomes.
