The Scripps Gerontology Center at Miami University projects that by 2020, 25 percent of the population in more than half of Ohio counties will be over the age of 60. As Ohio’s population continues to age, policymakers are faced with unique challenges. This forum, a follow-up to a popular 2016 HPIO forum, will explore the aging policy landscape, supports for healthy aging, public and private payment models and social determinants of health for aging populations.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made in writing to Alana Clark-Kirk (aclarkkirk@hpio.net). The last day to cancel registration for a full refund is one week prior to the event (Feb. 20, 2017). A cancellation fee of $15 will be deducted from your refund for all cancellations received after Feb 20. If you do not send us notification of cancellation prior to the event on Feb. 27, you will be required to remit the full amount of the registration fee. Those who do not remit payment will be required to pay in advance for any future events.
Note for State Employees and Legislators: Forum registration fee can be waived for all State of Ohio executive branch employees, legislators and staff. However, state employees, legislators and staff that are reportable persons should note that their attendance at the event is subject to JLEC disclosure if their forum registration fee is waived.
