Ohioans list drug use as state’s biggest health problem

Ohioans believe drug use is the most urgent health problem in the state, according to a statewide poll released last week (Source: “Ohioans see drug use as urgent health problem, poll shows,” Cincinnati Enquirer, Dec. 15, 2016).

The latest results from the Ohio Health Issues Poll, found that 21 percent of those surveyed believe drug use was Ohio’s top health concern.

The poll found that 18 percent of Ohioans listed health insurance as the state’s top health issue. (The concerns include the cost of health care, coverage gaps for those who are insured, accessibility to insurance and general worries about the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare.)
