5,600 Ohioans enroll through Healthcare.gov

Federal data released this week shows that 5,672 Ohioans had selected new health insurance plans through Healthcare.gov through the end of November (Source: “5,600 Ohioans sign up for new health plans in November,” Cincinnati Enquirer, Dec. 11, 2013). 

According to the HHS report, 51,511 applications have been completed for coverage for 96,409 Ohioans since Healthcare.gov was launched on Oct. 1. 

Across the country, nearly 365,000 individuals selected plans from the state and federal health insurance marketplaces through the end of November and more than 1.8 million applications have been completed for 3.6 million individuals.
