Survey finds health care costs a top concern for Ohio manufacturers

A survey of 200 Ohio manufacturers by the Dayton Regional Manufacturers Association found that health care costs is one of the industry's top concerns (Source: "Survey: Healthcare costs top the list of worries for Ohio manufacturers," MedCity News, Oct. 17, 2012).

For the past three years DRMA has conducted the survey of its members, and the top concerns have remained the same, according to Dennis McLaughlin, of accounting firm Clark Shaeffer Hackett, which partnered with the DRMA on the survey.

McLaughlin said Ohio manufacturers appear to be especially concerned about the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, which he said they see as as "another form of regulation that's going to increase their costs."
