HPIO website catalogs transparency resources

The Health Policy Institute of Ohio recently adopted a three-year strategic plan that identifies four strategic objectives for informing health policy development in Ohio. One of those objectives is developing tools for improved Ohio health system data transparency.

As part of its efforts to encourage the development of data transparency tools, HPIO has created a page on its website that catalogs existing data transparency resources. The Institute also has created a separate page dedicated to resources related to all-payer claims databases.

On Sept. 20, HPIO will be hosting Price and Quality Transparency: Demystifying the All-Payer Claims Database. The forum will take place from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the Columbus Bar Association. To register, click here.
