HPIO launches online health calendar

The Health Policy Institute of Ohio has created Ohio Health Happenings, an online calendar designed to spread the word on health-related meetings and events throughout the state.

The hope is that organizers of upcoming health events will contribute information to this public wiki. You are invited to add your event's name, date & time, place and “who to contact” information to the calendar.  The site also allows users to make comments about the events, within the bounds of good taste. You must request access to leave comments, so we can have a record of participants.

It is important to note however, that by definition, this wiki is open to organizations of all political persuasions and ideologies and therefore inclusion on the calendar in no way implies endorsement or support by the Health Policy Institute of Ohio.

With limited resources and growing need, investing in policies that deliver the greatest impact is essential. This event will highlight strategies that improve health and wellbeing while reducing healthcare spending. Speakers will provide evidence-informed research responsive to today’s political climate, focusing on what works and why it matters now more than ever.
