Many veterans don't know they qualify for health care, other benefits

According to an article in USA Today, "Many veterans never receive the federal and state benefits to which they're entitled because they're unaware they qualify for health care, tax breaks and other compensation." (Source: "Vets miss out on benefits, liaisons say," Jan. 8, 2007.) In Ohio, veterans are able to find out about benefits they qualify for through the Governor's Office of Veterans' Affairs and its 88 County Veterans Service Offices.
