Strickland issues two health care executive orders
Gov. Strickland issued two executive orders on Dec. 31 dealing with how the state pays for health care services. The first, 2007-41S (PDF download), regards the Medicaid reimbursement rate freeze Strickland announced earlier in the year. The second order, 2007-42S (PDF download), implements the 2008 Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System, along with an immediate rule change on how payments are made for occupational therapy services under this system.
