Using RVs to provide health care for moms

The Cincinnati Enquirer has a fascinating look at the organization Healthy Moms and Babes, which uses  recreational vehicles to bring health care services to mothers and women who are pregnant in neighborhoods in Hamilton County and parts of Northern Kentucky. Among the services provided are pregnancy tests and education on nutrition, how to have healthy pregnancies, and how take better care of babies. Kay Brogle, executive director of Healthy Moms and Babes, says that for many of their poor clients, "getting to a doctor's office for prenatal counseling isn't going to happen. They don't have transportation or can't take time off work or find child care to get to the appointments."
