The role of diversity in Ohio’s health workforce

A policy brief highlighting how diversifying Ohio’s health workforce, by increasing the presence of racially and ethnically diverse populations, individuals from poor socio-economic backgrounds and rural or Appalachian Ohio can contribute to a number of benefits, including increased access to health services for Ohio’s most underserved populations. This brief also discusses a number of strategies that can be implemented to diversify Ohio’s health workforce.
