HPIO to host forum on politics, perceptions of ACA, five years after its passage

The Health Policy Institute of Ohio is hosting a forum in September titled, “Politics, perceptions, and five years of the ACA: The Affordable Care Act’s impact on coverage and access.” The event will consider the following questions: How successful has the law been in meeting its primary goals? What have been the major outcomes and unintended consequences related to access, coverage, affordability, and market stability? What are the future policy implications of the law?

Robert Laszewski, President, Health Policy and Strategy Associations, LLC will deliver the keynote address and a panel of Ohio stakeholders will provide perspectives from the front lines. The forum will take place from 9:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the Ohio Statehouse. The program has been approved by the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Continuing Legal Education for 2.75 hours of CLE instruction.
