HPIO announces staff addition

Health Policy Institute of Ohio President Amy Rohling McGee announced earlier this month that Stephanie Gilligan has been named the Institute’s new Health Policy Assistant.

Gilligan will be working closely with HPIO’s policy staff to provide state policymakers with the information and analysis they need to create sound health policy.

Prior to joining HPIO in January 2014, Gilligan spent seven years working for the Ohio Legislative Service Commission. During her time at LSC, she worked on the fiscal staff in the health and human services subject area and later coordinated the LSC Fellowship Program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in public administration from The Ohio State University.

“We are very excited to have someone with Stephanie’s experience and knowledge joining the staff of HPIO,” Rohling McGee said. “Her educational and professional experience in state policy, particularly in an independent, non-partisan setting, will make her a tremendous asset to our staff.”
