HHS launches dashboard tracking its HIT work

Earlier this month the federal Department of Health and Human Services launched it online “Health IT dashboard” (Source: “Health IT dashboard makes its debut online,” Federal Computer Week, May 10, 2012).

The web portal, which is being overseen by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, gives direct access to several web pages displaying maps, charts, graphs and data downloads with information about the implementation of the health IT provisions of the economic stimulus law in 2009.
