The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services announced Friday that Ohioans can now apply for Medicaid and other services online (Source: “Ohioans can apply online for assistance,” Associated Press via Dayton Daily News, Nov. 12, 2010).
ODJFS has set up a new site, http://ODJFSBenefits.ohio.gov, where residents can fill our an application that is forwarded to a caseworker, who will then determine eligibility. Previously all Medicaid applications needed to be made in person.
