Ohio Health Information Technology and Exchange Summit set for Oct. 27

The Health Policy Institute of Ohio is hosting the Fifth Annual Health Information Technology and Exchange Summit from 9:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Oct. 27 at Quest Business Centers in Columbus.

The summit, titled "Health Information Technology & Exchange in Ohio: Current and Coming Efforts," will be an opportunity to learn about current projects and what is on the horizon for health information efforts in Ohio.

The keynote address will be given by Deborah C. Peel, MD, a practicing physician and nation expert on medical privacy. Other speakers include representatives from the Ohio's three Nationwide Health Information Network award winners: Cleveland Clinic,  HealthBridge and Wright State University.

The registration fee is $125 and a registration form can be completed online.
