Online policy research repository goes live

The non-profit Center for Government Studies launched June 19 what it hopes will become the largest online database of public policy research in the world (Source: “New Online Archive of Policy Research Launched,” Government Technology, June 20, 2008).

PolicyArchive is the first free online archive of public policy research in the nation and was created by CGS in partnership with the Indianapolis University Purdue University Indianapolis University Library. The archive already contains more than 12,000 policy documents from more than 220 think tanks and other research organizations. It is expected to include as many 20,000 documents by the end of the year.
