Akron health care summit Nov. 19

The Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce is hosting its third annual health care summit on Monday, Nov. 19 at the Martin Center, University of Akron. Senator Sherrod Brown will be the keynote speaker. There will also be a panel discussion on health care accessibility and affordability moderated by William Hayes, Health Policy Institute of Ohio. The panel speakers will include Dr. Jay Williamson, NEOUCOM; Marty Hauser, SummaCare; Alan Bleyer, Akron General Hospital; and Senator Kevin Coughlin, Ohio State Senate. Registration is $25 for members and $35 for nonmembers; the registration deadline is Nov. 14.
