UC forum on new Medicare payment system to be held on Nov. 15

The Institute for the Study of Health at the University of Cincinnati will host a forum called "Medicare's Introduction of Severity-Adjusted Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG) for the Inpatient Prospective Payment System" on Monday, November 5, 2007. The forum will cover CMS's new payment system, which is expected to substantially redistribute revenue across hospitals. A special focus will be on transition and  reimbursement issues with the new payment system and the implications for Medicare payments in the coming years. For more information, go here.
