Ohio’s overdose death rate has declined in recent years yet remains higher than most other states. The decrease represents important progress in the state’s response to the overdose crisis. This improvement comes amid changes in substance-use patterns, the drug supply, access to treatment and recovery services and the availability of overdose reversal medication.
This webinar will examine the factors contributing to changes in Ohio’s overdose death rate and explore what leaders across Ohio can do next to sustain progress and address substance use disorder.
