1:00 pm – 2:15 pm

Recently enacted federal policy changes are expected to strain state and local budgets in coming years and create uncertainty for state and local leaders. These financial pressures come as need for health care, food assistance, housing supports and other social services remains high across Ohio.

Among the pending and potential policy changes to be discussed on the webinar are those related to:

  • Medicaid financing
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) funding
  • Funding for housing Continuum of Care programs
  • A potential state ballot initiative eliminating property taxes

In addition to providing an overview of the changes from a financing perspective, speakers will share how they may affect service capacity, access and affordability in the coming years.
