Behavioral Health Equity Roadmap Assessment
The Montgomery County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (MCADAMHS) Board contracted with HPIO to conduct this assessment to provide the organization and its partners with data to inform the development of a future Behavioral Health Equity Roadmap.
2023-2027 State Oral Health Plan
Oral Health Ohio, a coalition of statewide partners who educate and advocate to improve the state’s oral and overall health, contracted with HPIO to facilitate and create this State Plan, a prioritized, actionable roadmap to integrate oral health with overall health and elevate it to the same importance.
2020-2022 Strategic Action Plan on Aging
The Ohio Department of Aging contracted HPIO to facilitate development of this Strategic Action Plan on Aging (SAPA), an actionable plan to advance elder justice and equity In Ohio.
2020-2022 State Health Improvement Plan
The Ohio Department of Health contracted with the Health Policy Institute of Ohio (HPIO) to develop this State Health Improvement Plan (SHIP), which is considered “Ohio’s roadmap” to address the many challenges identified in the 2019 State Health Assessment.
2019 State Health Assessment
The Ohio Department of Health contracted with HPIO to produce the 2019 State Health Assessment (SHA), a comprehensive and actionable picture of health and wellbeing in Ohio. The purpose of the SHA is to:
- Inform identification of priorities in the State Health Improvement Plan (SHIP)
- Provide a template for state agencies and local partners, with a uniform set of categories and metrics to use in related assessments
Assessment of Child Health and Health Care in Ohio
The Ohio Children’s Hospital Association (OCHA) commissioned HPIO to lead a multi-faceted process to develop an Assessment of Child Health and Health Care in Ohio. The Assessment identifies Ohio’s top child health and healthcare-related priorities and provides a starting place for a child-focused health policy agenda that can pave the way for a healthier Ohio.
Top child health priorities identified in the Assessment are informed by:
- Analysis of 58 child health specific metrics
- Review of local health department and children’s hospital community health planning documents
- Healthcare utilization and cost data on young Ohioans from the Ohio Department of Medicaid and the Ohio Hospital Association
- Feedback from the Child Health and Health Care Advisory Committee
