Senator Brown pushes kids coverage

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Senator Sherrod Brown is among those pushing for an expansion of the Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP). According to the article, 70,000 Ohio children might gain health coverage under such an expansion. Both houses of Congress have passed bills to expand SCHIP but President Bush has threatened a veto.
