Jill Huntley has over seventeen years experience working in state government on health care policy issues. Most recently, she provided senior level policy, operations, and administrative support to the Deputy Director’s Office as the Senior Assistant for Policy & Operations, Office of Ohio Health Plans (Medicaid Programs) at the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services. Previously, Huntley served as the Assistant Administrator for the Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps, Ohio Department of Health, and as a Senior Policy & Research Assistant for the Department of Health’s Division of Quality Assurance, where she coordinated a statewide collaborative group focused on trends and issues in the area of patient safety and medical errors.
Huntley attended the Ohio State University where she completed her undergraduate degree in Political Science and received her Master of Public Administration degree, with a specialty in urban administration. In addition to her strong interest in the study of creativity and its application to the work place, Huntley is a court-appointed special advocate (CASA/guardian ad litem appointed by the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas), advocating on behalf of children in central Ohio who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected.
