HPIO services

In addition to our core work of providing non-partisan health policy analysis and information to Ohio’s policymakers, HPIO also has developed the capacity to provide other services to organizations throughout the state.

Speaking engagements

In recent years health policy issues have become a hot topic in Ohio and across the country. HPIO’s policy experts regularly speak to trade associations, boards of directors, community groups and others throughout Ohio to offer audiences a better understanding of the issue. Our independent, non-partisan presentations can be tailored to give a broad overview for a general audience or go more in-depth for those who are more knowledgeable on the subject.

Among the topics HPIO can present on are:

  • Health reform 101
  • Medicaid 101
  • Health and wellness
  • Aligning payment with better quality and lower costs

If you are interested in having an HPIO staff member speak to your organization, please contact HPIO President Amy Rohling McGee at 614.224.4950 x305 or e-mail her at arohlingmcgee@hpio.net.

Printing

HPIO has a Ricoh CPP-660 color printer that is capable of producing professional-quality letter-size, saddle-stitch booklets (up to 60 pages) and 11x17 posters. We can typically do most print jobs at a cost that is about half of what commercial printers charge. Also, depending on our internal work schedule, we can potentially offer one-day turnaround for an additional fee. For more information about our printing capabilities, please contact HPIO Communications Manager Nick Wiselogel at 614.224.4950 x310 or nwiselogel@hpio.net.

Meeting space

HPIO offers meeting space for up to 50 at our offices at the corner of Front and Broad streets (one block from the Statehouse). The space can also be divided into two with a collapsible dry-erase wall for smaller meetings. For information on booking HPIO’s meeting space, please contact HPIO President Amy Rohling McGee at 614.224.4950 x305 or e-mail her at arohlingmcgee@hpio.net.
